Nancy Denison met Miriam through the Mendocino Art Center in 1986. This first meeting between teacher/mentor grew into an enduring friendship. They foraged together and traveled to many events and IFFF Symposia around the globe. Nancy has been the IMDI Treasurer since 1998, helping guide the organization for 25 years.
